FUEGUIA 1833 UNVEILS FLOR DE HUESO

Flor de Hueso explores the roots of identity and elevates the poetry of one of the most emblematic ingredients in the history of perfumery: Tuberose. Native to Mexico and long used in traditional and therapeutic practices, tuberose is revered for its powerful scent and longevity. In Aztec culture, it was known asómíxöchitl — “bone flower” — a name that reflects both its pale bloom and symbolic depth. This perfume reflects not only the flower, but also the land, memory, and culture that shape it: a lost chapter, rediscovered through Julian’s imagination.

The aromatic profile of Flor de Hueso is composed by three ingredients that are deeply rooted in Mexican ethnobotany: tuberose, vanilla, and copal.

Tuberose reigns with its unmistakable intensity, characterized by an openly carnal, overpowering profile. The flower is processed using supercritical CO2 extraction, a method that preserves its true-to-nature character: waxy, green, with subtle balsamic nuances.

Copal resin from the Bursera linanoe tree adds a citrusy clarity and ritualistic depth, evoking ancient Aztec ceremonies where tuberose petals were laid atop burning copal.

The vanilla, mild, smooth, and distilled in-house , binds the composition with a barely-there sweetness, a whisper from the past.
