Historia

La Cautiva is a figure that became a symbol of the formation of the national territory of Argentina. Its classical representation portrays the violence in the interaction between the indigenous inhabitants and the colonizers, highlighting a dichotomy between civilization and barbarity. This portrayal of La Cautiva offers a different perspective, reinterpreting the primary meaning of 'to captivate' as the art of fascinating one another.
